-You can't counter kicks or punches. There is no parry system. So every online match consists of standing in front of your opponent and doing 15 headkicks until he's knocked out. And sadly, it works.

Training mode disagrees with you. Try it sometime.

Remember folks, when you review a game, it's a idea to play it for more than 5 minutes.

wow this game just got off my list lol

oh yeah, and the clinch IS a deadly weapon. I had my friend knocked out twice using Anderson Silva and Dan Henderson in the clinch using knees and uppercuts.

you need to learn to play the game first before you complain about it.

put a game on blast and you dont even know the basic controls???? you can catch those kicks then take them down. I dont think you are using the right stick enough. **hint** the right stick is how you catch kicks and it is also how you pull their head down while in the clinch to knee them in the face. Its a deadly KO move.

practice up noob, and try doing all the tutorials and practice modes at the very least before you attempt a "review"

you're nuts. game is great. Load times suck and some options get too detailed but the fights are thrilling...

you guys must have very low standards for video games.

Seriously...This is WWE Smackdown vs Raw with MMA moves and a cage.

The animations and graphics are identical.
Slow, sluggish, robitic movements and animations. Just like every WWE game for the past 5 years.

I cant believe how many ppl actually like this game.

You obviously don't even know what Parrying is.

One more thing I just noticed .... There is no SOUTHPAW STANCE in this game? WTF?

How can you be a professional developer making a huge name game, and not include Southpaw stance? All the lefties are fighting as righties in this game. So much for realism. Just goes to show what I pointed out before... the devs of this game don't know much about MMA.

Cro Cop is fighting as a righty. LOL. I find it completely unprofessional of the dev studio. That stuff might fly in WWE games, but in MMA it's crucial..

again... casual MMA fans wont notice the difference, and wont care. But I do.

Your whole argument is "Graphics" and slow/sluggish.

1. graphics have nothing to do how good the game is.

2. Some people like slower fights...the fight pacing in UFC 2009 is perfect for me. The reason why it works is because of the fact that you can be knocked out at any time ...and that makes the game quite exciting. So controls are slower since big consequences follow if you make a mistake...therefore you are given time to think between hits. Unless you are playing on easy and jsut kick the guy over and over till he falls down...

my own review. if you guys want to read a review from a guy who actually learned the entire game before passing judgment, go over there.
