This doesnt look nearly as good as the previous images. Im a gameplay guy though so if its like Indigo Prophecy(though a lot of people HATED the gameplay of it), Ill be okay.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

After all the commotion over graphics being good, bad, etc I've been the most excited about the game ever since I saw the amateur video cam recording of the HR demonstration in france, and this.

I'll love to have a sweet game that utilizes things from different genres (stealth, rpg), while keeping out the technical mechanics and gameplay so that everyone can enjoy it and excel at it by having good logic. I hope this ends up being an cinematic experience similar to GOW (Unlike MGS4), and that they still distinguish themselves from movies with the fact that you have to pick and choose what to do, and you have to do it fast.

The awesome concept is there, it's just visually underwhelming compared to the 24 min gameplay video shown last year. That's why I'm waiting for a REAL unveiling of new gameplay! HEAVY RAIN was never about "bullshots", they showed gameplay, and that's what I want to see more of.

 

Wait so are you excited about the graphics or gameplay?

I hope that the first game that does enter the uncanny valley makes it the entire focus of the game (and kinda jab the video game industry and our lust for violence, sex, fantasy, escapism, etc).

Color me unimpressed. But I'm still hyped for this game. And, it looks different from what I was expecting but you can see the same kind of QTE in a couple of the pics as was shown in the tech demo. So I'm pretty damn sure this is Heavy Rain.

Maybe.......maybe not. That's why I'm waiting for official confirmation, as these pics, if they indeed are HEAVY RAIN, look rather compressed as well.

 

I'm sure it is... especially with the last pic (they're very in line with what we saw in the beginning). I think the circle things are controlled with the six axis. Don't worry CGI, wait for more pics and see if there's a consistent pattern or not.

It's just baffling to me, I just went and watched the full 24 minute E3 2008 gameplay demo again, and what we have here really doesn't match that. But as you say, I'm waiting for more on this.

 Lol, are you high!? the graphics don't look anywhere near as good as crysis or the images theyve hyped for the game previously.

Neither do they look anywhere as good as killzone 2 or uncharted 2 seems to look.

I'm pretty sure they are Heavy Rain. Besides for me they look good. I'm more interested in the story than anything else. Graphics are just the toping.

If anyone can translate this, i think this is were the pics originated from.
