If you have not heard Ikaruga is making its way to XBLA. 

Ikaruga was a Gamecube exclusive shooter by Atarii.  The game is amazing, hard, innovative, and challenging beyond your imagination. 

Whether you have interest in shooters or not, you should at least try Ikaruga; it is a unique experience and there is not another game like it.

 Wait, gamecube exclusive?  It was for dreamcast, and I don't think Atari had anything to do with it???  I thought Treasure made it...

Well anyways, it's a great game whatever system you play it on. 

didn't know it was available for dreamcast. Oops. Anyway, if you've never played it, and have an Xbox it is worth picking up.

Ikaruga's good. I prefer Radiant Silvergun a bit more, though.

Good news to XBLA users.

XBLA will enjoy the game, as XBLA seems to be the most varied network of gamers the X360 has to offer - look at the top titles. It's always Uno, Geometry Wars, and other rather casual games, and then a few shooters thrown in.

It'll sell well, and millions will play it, trust me.

just to make a point most dreacast fans are on XB because most DC title have been ported to XB..... so don't worry people on XB do like other games than shooters racing and etc..... stop listening to other people who don't have an XB... they don't know what they are talking about.....

the 3 games I4m playing the most right now..... is table tennis, enchanted arms, texas Hold'em XBLA and a very small amount of bioshock..... and i'm waiting for halo 3 but even more for mass effect lost odyssey and assassin's creed..... so see 2 FPS for mostly non FPS games..... and a lot of us are like that......

I love this game, it´s great to see Sidescroll-shooters went out with a blast....  to bad they are dead and gone now,  exept for some  rare games..... anybody here play Jets and Guns ??? Nows thats another great one thats not to old.

Is the game already out on XBLA? Anybody know how the XBLA version of the game (will or does, if its already released) compare to the GC version? I never played the game on my DC (never owned a GC), but I've always wanted to play it, since I loved Radiant Silvergun on Saturn.

Would it be better to get the XBLA version? or try and find the GC version (since the Wii plays GC games)?
