Like Alan Wake and Shadow Complex?

lol its still a new IP, and if it aint broke why fix it? Viva Pinata and the likes never lifted sales, another Halo would do wonders. New IP's will do as much to help as another massive shooter, in fact I would bet on the latter doing the best for Microsoft.

Mass effect 2=RPG
Splinter cell conviction=Action
RTS=Halo Wars
Hack N' slash and QTE's=Ninja blade
Shooters=Halo ODST
horror action thriller=Alan wake
That's enough variety there for the 360 than the PS3 or the Wii:)
They simply need to make better games wich keep the gamer occupied.
2 reasons for 360 sales.
Cheap arcade version, wich the mom buys for the kids.
And microsoft's wallet.
That's easy... nothing.... If people would look at the sales and understand that software sales is what really matters to companies you'll see microsoft dominating against sony. The greatest evidence is that Killzone 2(The savior of the PS3) hasn't even sold over a million copies yet in America. That's really sad. I own both systems and have purchased games for each but Xbox has SO FAR better exclusives. It has the best RPG, RTS, and multiplayer experiences this gen IMO. (mass effect, halo wars, laft 4 dead).
So as of right now i dont think that microsoft has to do nothing. Sony is the one that needs to catch up. There sales SHOULD be beating Microsoft NOW if they plan to catch them because with microsoft exclusives coming out this year (Splinter Cell, forza, Left 4 dead) they are sure to widen their lead at the holiday season. So right now they need to do NOTHING
Thank you Kowenicki
