It is a classic adventure. You know, one where you actually have to think and not an action adventure. It is a great game with a brilliant sense of humor. You are a pirate (a real one, not a software-pirate). Ah it is too much to explain, you need to download this as soon as possible.

You can easily spend 15 hours on this game, then you are finished and you will be hyped for part 2... but wait aren't you the guy who wants to quit playing games? Well then... nevermind.



Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

HOLY MOTHER OF AFRO
friggin sweet, but it's no way to be retail game. though i would love to buy a compilation of all Monkey Island games on one disc with improved visuals, interface and some additional goodies here and there.

 well, it is legal to dl games for free when there are abandoneware games

but MI is not one of these game

I must say I never played MI game, perhasp wasnever released on Amiga or just bad luck

but I know it is supposed to be very good ;)

I never played it but I've always concidered monkey island a awesome name. Mostly because of the speculation when you say monkey island. Or the horrors of monkey island (which was a old movie where the island was seperated in 2. Pretty girls on one side and monkeys on the other) ... Never saw it though XD sounds fucked.

I love adventure games and usually only buy them for the PC, but I decided to give a try to Ps2's Escape from Monkey Island and it was just a nightmare to play with the controler. Adventure games should only be played with the mouse.


Other than that Monkey Island is a fantastic series as were all the Lucas Art point & click games I've played (especially Grim Fandango best adventure game ever !)
