Fallout 3 plays very differently from Fallouts 1 & 2, so your stance would still make sense even if you hadn't played them so closely to each other.

Maybe this is Why they aren't working on Fallout Vegas? I really hope it's a quality Fallout title. I'm completely in love with Fallout and Bethesda.
