Forums - Gaming - With Capcom bringing a multiple licensed game to the US, what about Namco?

They have the Super Robot Wars games, but they've only localized the OG games. If Capcom getting the rights to localize Tatsunoko Vs Capcom paves the way for the licensed SRW games to be localized, that would be too awesome.

Please start on it, Namco.

And before some of you start with "Those shows haven't been on in years, so they didn't cost as much for Capcom," I know perfectly well about it. That's why I wrote "if".

But seriously, I would pay money for SRW W. Just look at the top right of the cover:

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

No. They cant even bring over Fragile I doubt they'll go for the trouble of doing this. =P

At their defense though OG Saga for DS has crossover so you never know but I doubt it.

We don't know that. Baten Kaitos on GC came over 11 months after the JP release...

And unless Fragile is a licensed IP, that's not relevant to this. Bringing it over would be Namco's choice, not something to sort out with other companies.

OG stands for Original Generations meaning it contains only original, non-licensed characters.  If anything, the OG games have paved the way for more OG games.  I'm totally fine with that as they were quite excellent (OG1/2 that is, haven't played Saga).

All I ask is for a console SRW to be localized.

@soriku
Shut up. They havent announced anything so far so as far as I know they cant. They also really arent bringing over any of the old SWR games out. I'll just play the fan translations which will be released along with the Tales DS translations.

Read the first part of the OP again. I forgot to be specific in what inspired this thread, so I edited it to make it clear.

The only crossover title I want from Namco is Tekken vs. Soul Calibur.

Namco is pretty stubborn about its US market, so I'd say no
