You've already said you don't like the games. What do you want them to say?

If you've owned the console, I think you know what it can and can't do. I don't think anyone would be able to change your mind.

But I guess I and many others aren't very objective then. The xbox exclusive list is very little to get excited about imo, exspecially this year. I have not bought one single 360 game this entire year. At least the PS3 got Killzone 2 which was amazing. But there is also Infamous this month and the promise of Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, Ratchet and Clank: A crack in time, MAG, DC universe online, GT5, God of War etc. coming, many of those this year even. But I'm sure your right, the ps3 has absolutely nothing to offer and objectively the 360 lineup is better in every way shape and form.

I'm sorry, but where did I say the bolded?  Or anything close too it?  I own a PS3, I play it.  Not as much as my Xbox 360, but I play it nonetheless.

Take a look at Metacritic or Gamerankings.  You may not like them (PS3 fans traditionally dont), but they are as close to objective as any measure we have.  Of course, if you want to examine the last five months, I'm sure the PS3 does beat the Xbox 360.  Just as there are half a dozen few month periods from the two years before where the Xbox 360 no doubt beat the PS3.

Most consumers dont limit themselves to playing just the games from the last few months though.

 

 

 

the Xbox 360 has a better library than the PS3, and it will get all the games the Ps3 gets, plus a bunch of exclusives Microsoft will make/pay for. The PS3 is unlikely to do much to surprise you ever though.

IDK, but that sounds pretty close. Suggesting that everything that comes to the ps3 will also come to the 360 (which is untrue) is the same thing as saying the ps3 has nothing to offer. No games that aren't on 360 = nothing to offer that you can't get on another console. Of course that's just all untrue trolling fanboy masterbation, but expected from you.

Personally, the ps3 exclusives have been better on the ps3 since the beginning of last year. Notice how many sites awarded the ps3 the best library of 2008? And that has certainly carried over to this year and up to now looks like it will continue to be this way through 2009 barring any huge releases revealed at e3. 360 fans say the PS3 is stuck in the past when ps3 fans say the ps3 has sold more units in the same point in their lifespans. Well, 360 fans are stuck in the past with exclusives. Your trying to combat future games with past ones? Who cares about the past? And multiple titles that are 90+ 360 on metacritc are also on ps3 under 90 but the games are still available. How many more exclusive AAA games does the 360 have compared to the PS3?

Are you asking for the number right now or a rhetorical question for the future line-up?

 

On gamerankings I counted 8 for 360 and 5 for ps3. All of the PS3 titles were reatail titles and 2 or 3 of the 360 were xboxlive games/expansion. Hardly a BLOWOUT, like would be suggested. And again, the 360 had an entire year to get out exclusives before the ps3 launched. And in the future it looks like sony will steadily be adding AAA exclusives while this fact is questionable with the 360. Regardless though, I think both systems have great games and even better great games coming out. Hence why I still own both systems. But then again, I'm not the one who came into the thread thrashing one of the systems lineups.

 

Even though it had a year start it still takes away nothing from the 360 and its better library compared to the ps3 right now.

 Which is just living in the past. It's barely ahead of the ps3 AAA game wise, and I didn't even include Infamous which is looking to be AAA, and the many games coming that are almost garanteed AAA such as GT5 and GOW3, meanwhile the 360 doesn't have as many ANNOUNCED right now.

Really!  I thought Halo Wars was supposed to be bigger than any PS3 game too?  What do you really know about Halo ODST except that it's an expansion?  If it's just an expansion with no improvements then it's just another Halo game with new maps and a few new weapons with the same game play and graphics, just like every year a Madden game comes out it's the same like the others.  If Halo ODST doesn’t have improvements, don't expect it to sell like Halo 3 did and get the same scores.  I’m sure it will do well because MS will hype it like crazy like Halo 3 but saying it will be bigger than any Sony game this year is stupid.  It seems that’s the only game 360 owners are hoping to do good this year and a lot is hoping for MGS4 too, which will never happen.  I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t want my console to have only one good game this year.  Hope that MS have something good at E3 besides Halo ODST.

Umm, depending on the price, I'd buy it off u. I know I wouldn't get much play out of it (compared to my PS3), but it'd be nice to play the few games that I want like the Gears franchise, the SHMUPs on XBL and Dead Rising.

ODST will not come close to outselling GoW3, Uncharted 2, and inFAMOUS.

inFAMOUS - 2 million+ (if LBP can sell over 2million on Ps3, I'm sure inFAMOUS will too)
Uncharted 2 - 3-4 million (will be better than the first one)
GoW3 - 3.5-4.5 million

ODST - 4.5-5.5 million


but again...sales dont really mean anything when I'm in my living room playing games.

And charger+wire for my controller. All of those extra accessories came with Ps3 brand new when I bought it. And since buying the 360, I dont really have much reason to keep the PS3 any longer. Is there any reason why I should keep the PS3? The only games I really like that can't be played on 360 are Resistance 1 + 2...but after finishing the campaign in both of them and getting tired of the online..they are pretty much collecting dust.

keep it till E3 atleast :)

recently I almost sell my 360 but at some point I almost did the same on my PS3 so I thought maybe I just need to be more patient waiting for the right games on my hd consoles.
