Uncharted is another one I seriously don't get. Not even sure where to start with this one.

Argh fanboys.

For one thing, because of the extremely addictive and well implemented online multiplayer. And some people enjoy the addition of bikes (though I don't particularly like them).

It also has 32 tracks to choose from, which is more than any other MK game, amirite?

You see, the thing with Mario Kart is, they're all so similar that everyone has a different favourite. Meaning each one will get a good share of votes.

No More Heroes is the laughing stock of the list. Some people are just easy to impress, I suppose.

"Durr-lololol, you sit on the toilet to save your progress and one of the bosses shoots lazers out of his crotch! Best game ever!".

Stop getting so excited about a Kid Icarus remake... the original NES Icarus sucked.

Yeah... I think it would all be much easier if people just accepted that this list isn't some grand design from a single godly mind. It's the result of a community voting, with all the consequences that it has.

For those who are bitching about all the Mario Kart games, what solution do you propose? Selectively eliminate votes to "fix" the list?

 Mass Effect shouldn't be on the list.   KOTOR should be.  Mass Effect showed off a great conversation program, but the incessant vehicle portions of the game killed it for me.  Oh, and the fact that every sidequest had the same randomly generated room/ship/miners quarters to go through.  Good game? Yes.  Top 100? No.

Fair enough..to each his own, i think ME had one of the best stories in any game i've ever played.  Also I've never played KOTOR before.

 

You must play KOTOR then.  Hopefully they release it as an Xbox original, but you can pick them up used on Ebay or at many stores.  It's like Mass Effect, except set in Star Wars w/lightsabers.  Oh, and no annoying vehicle sections.  The story is better than Mass Effect, too.  10/10.

I actually also liked KOTOR2.. dealing with the glitches can be a struggle at times, though.

i agree on the mario kart thing. mario kart is the most simple racing game ever and every iteration is the same, i dont see a difference other than graphics. Worst of all is that mario kart is supposed to be better than xenogears, legend of zelda, WOW, kingdom hearts and metal gar solid 2. This thing lost all credibility to me, who ever is doing this has no clear criteria, i dont know if is based on quality or sells, because if is based on sales, i think bejweled will be number one, but if is based on quality and innovation then the current list is a joke.

That just means you didn't read the articles... It's the result of a community voting, which makes your post lose all the credibility, not the top 100 list.
