Sam fisher is back!!!!!
Crackdown 2, Splinter Cell, Halo, Forza, Perfect Dark, man E3 is gonna be good.
I could rant again about how they turned SC into a social stealth game, but I'll say something positive this time.
I loved how they included Douglas Shetland's death into the trailer (And YES he WAS SHOT. I fucking hate how everyone preferred putting away the gun. It made Shetland seem dishonest on his word, and the line Fisher say afterwards "You're right Doug, I wouldn't shoot an old friend" sound like a stupid joke than what it really meant: You changed Doug")
I thought that they truly failed to capitalize on that part of the entire SC arch, especially when they were going with the story (which I personally didn't like) of DA.
DA was pretty much what Douglas Shetland was complaining about. Backroom deals, bureaucrats, and how America was a sick old lady on light support. The only difference between Fisher and Shetland, both being former NAVY SEALS, former heroes, American patriots, was that one turned to terrorism and chaos, while the other stayed with the government to preserve order.
They should have twisted the plot and dialogue in DA more to continue Shetland's point, and make Fisher question whether or not he should go with the government which he continually dislikes (Shetland said that Fisher was just going to be another used toy), or the terrorist group with *yuck* the "love of his life" (I fucking hate Enrica. I liked it in the PS2/Xbox/GC version I played where she's more like a daughter figure that resemble Sarah).
I haven't played the PSP SC game yet, but if what I remember is correct, Sam meets up with Grim and gets his old equipment back. If Montreal goes with this and makes SC the Light and Shadow game it used to be, then they redeem themselves for Assassin's Creed 1 and the awful game play footage of Convictions they showed earlier, and I'll be more inclined to buy the Arcade later on in this generation.
