Noticing the lack of great games that would boost 360 sales (such as Sony's 1st party exclusives like Killzone 2) makes me really hope they'll have a tremendous E3 this year. Last week showed that the 360 outsold the PS3 by just 20k, an anstonishingly small gap considering the price disparity. Does anyone else agree this year so far has been pretty lousy for the Xbox? Also, if you believe there have been some really great games released this year for 360 (I said that there hasn't been that much, not that there isn't any at all) please share with us all.

If this new xbox fluid thing was properly advertised, I could see sales increasing. Never underestimate the power of casuals (see DS april NPD ;_;)

Why is the 360 beating the PS3 in sales seen as being "pretty lousy"? Microsoft still leading the PS3, without major releases this year. Sorry, Ninja Blade doesn't count. Wait, there is Halo Wars, but beyond that?

well so far 360 has released:

Race Pro, Stoked, Halo Wars, GTA4:LAD, Ninja Blade, Star Ocean LH, Velvet Assassin, BattlestationsPacific

Those are all games on 360 now that PS3 doesnt have.

So far PS3 only released KZ2 and MLB 09: The show. 360 is actually outperforming PS3 in 2009 so far. Saleswise too.

okay let me rephrase: to me it seems that the recent releases this year haven't that great when compared to PS3 releases. Also, yes the 360 may be outselling the PS3 despite no new releases, but you'd think that at least the price disparity would account for a greater sales gap. I hope MS has a couple huge things to show off this E3.

Sorry I thought the 360 had sold more this year than the PS3 worldwide by some margin.

Also didn't 360 gamers get to play Star Ocean 4, Halo Wars, SFIV, Resident Evil 5, GTA Lost and the Damned, Hawkx, Afro Samurai, Guitar Hero Metallica, Race Pro, Ninja Balde, etc, etc.

It doesn't matter that these games aren't all exclusives because 360 gamers are happy buying any software, it doesn;t need the exclusive tag to be considered "great". It's a bit early to be trumpeting the success of the PS3 library when it still trails a long way behind even if this years exclusives look decent at the moment.

The best idea I can come up with for your pathertically biased opinion is go back to the bridge you live under.
