Bad example, unicorns coulds have existed. I saw one during a vision, it drew silver power from the tree of life. Then it got it's head cut off by the flaming sword of the gaurdian. I got the fuck out of there before the sword got me. I ran, I ran so far away.

It's called meditation and going into a trance. No need for drugs, though it would probably be a lot easier to reach altered states of conciousness.
