Forums - Sony - This may be Sony's last chance to change their ways.

Microsoft has been losing money every year (except last year) since they started up their games division - Do you idiots really think they'd lower the price of the 360 so they'd be losing money on every console sold? Microsoft are in a good position at the moment - I think a PS3 price cut would hurt 360 sales but I still think they'd be about level.

Micrsoft aren't going to jeopardise a profitable income for another price cut - If 360 isn't selling as well as it should be for the price it is being sold at (which seems universally agreed) then clearly its not the price at fault

again. You are assuming every single 360 sold is an Arcade version.

If "Micrsoft aren't going to jeopardise a profitable income for another price cut", on what ground Sony is able to have a price cut for PS3? You need to apply the logic both ways.

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
