How are they just signiing a deal with a mo-cap company, shouldn't this have been done a long time ago. There goes my hope for seeing Alan Wake this year.

Perhaps the script and A-Z of the game is finished so they are now able to capture all the cut-scenes using mo-cap in the journey towards release this year?
Yeah, acquiring core tech at this time doesn't bode well for a holiday 09 title.
However, it IS in active development and that's a GREAT thing.
Alan Wake 4 da nguyen!
Are they a one game studio? And even if not, this probably just for cutscenes or something which, depending on the engine, could probably be whipped up pretty quick.
Another thought would be that they worked with them already with Alan Wake, thought they were good, and decided to partner with them for use on future games.
