I think the Zune HD is releasing soon so MS are getting ready to try beating Apple again in that department. I will be loving every moment simply because MS really do talk out there ass when it comes to Apple and shows how scared to them they really are.

Apple got that area in the bag MS, time you gave up with Zune. The crazy thing is that I think Zune is NA only because it has never released here in the UK. That or MS tried before and it failed miserably.

THIS is exactly what most people said after the PS2 and Xbox. Things can change.

Yeah, Zune is US only. You can't buy it in Germany either.

*edit* just noticed you talked about this before. :D

I think it is pretty funny, that there are a lot of people saying MS lost against the iPod. No doubt the iPod is the market-leader, but why are people just picking MS? So Sony lost, Philips lost, Samsung lost, Panasonic lost and creative lost as well, because they are all in that market. All of them are selling MP3 Players and all of them have a smaller marketshare than Apple. But for some reason, it is just MS who "lost".

19€ / month is a fair price for as much musik as you like. Do you have to do this for a certain period of time or can I do this just for one month as well? If so, I would do this for one month and download like crazy for this month. Getting all the old titles back + some new ones. Would be great to download 30CDs for 19€.

This thread is about MS taking a shot against Apple and not Sony or Samsung. All the others lost but to my knowledge do not make shitty adverts taking a shot at a company they seem to be afraid of. If anything it's free advertising for the iPod which is pretty darn retarded. Once again this thread is about MS and Apple, not the other companies and indeed MS LOST against Apple with the Zune.

$15 a month for music is very expensive and of course there has to be a catch. For example I would get a months subscription and download all the songs I want within a month and go again after a couple months. If all MS have is the Zune HD with a subscription service things then damn.

@ Seece is that how it's going to work? If so it's going to do even worse than I thought.

You're ignorance is funny with all this "its going to fail" "is that how its going to work" .. the service is already available why are you talking as if its coming out in the future?

The subscription only gets you access to all the music you want. You don't actually own or have the files for any of the songs. They're sort of just "tagged" or marked as your "favourites" so you stream them every time you play them. You get to keep 10 songs per month at a max so it doesn't work like downloading everything you want for one month and then cancelling your subscription.

Funny thing is...
iPod is the new big thing, bigger even than Wii.

MS are brave

If by new you mean since it released years ago....Well here In newyork at least it took off like right away..I mean Everyone had the big Black and White  one's when the Mini Came out everyone had one.....

We even have an Ipod store in new york which only sells..You guessed it .... Ipods

I don't pay attention to Zune so pardon me for thinking it was releasing in the future. You see I could not care less about a product I cannot even purchase unlike you whom seems to be fixated by Zune.

You must tell me what is so magical about Zune HD which is getting you so hyped for it.

Its compatitbility with the Xbox 360 for starters, its appearence, the subscription service & ditching my ipod touch as its not all its cracked out to be.

You could get a zune if you wanted.

the ,.competition...is beneficial for all,..

With the Music Price angle their is a chance to make new and/or steal customers to the Zune....But the ipod User Base ..As long as MS can "MoneyHat" the music..Exepct for Sony Music ofcourse...LOL......And In a turn of Irony...The Ipod can be filled for free...As long  you can get away with importing from "LimeWire"....But since Itunes Disables your pirated music it's tuff to keep it on Itunes...But I does not Affect your Ipod...As long as you dont sync it...So yeah the MS deal is pretty good...

I could do a lot of things, purchasing a Zune however is not one of them. You could purchase a PS3 but is that going to happen?

Personally, I think Zune Pass is a lousy deal. I'll gladly pay a reasonable fee per download for outright ownership of each file.

That being said, I absolutely love my pair of 4GB Zunes. They're so cute.

I was simply replying to "a product I cannot even purchase". I'm well aware you don't want one.

and yes I plan to buy a PS3 later this year and a PSP in 4 weeks (of a new one isn't announced at E3)

OK and shocked to see you are indeed picking up a PS3, what game(s) you picking it up for?
