Ah, I don't look at off topic much, but yeah, Berserk is the most badass manga there is. Guts(sp?) is my wallpaper right now, actually.

Oh, and unlike most (I think), after all that has happened in the manga, Griffith remains one of my fav chars.

It does depict a very explicit Homoerotic relationship, yes. It does so without apologising for it, and it is very firmly rooted in the story and the characters.

It's also an amazing story that is brutal with very dark undertones. It's very similar to Berserk in tone, if not in premise or setting. In short, it's amazing.

Yeah I need to read some more osamu. He afer all is credited with inventing manga. I've heard that his stuff other than astro boy is pretty dark and twisted.
I'm pretty sure MW is in an omnibus too now because I think I've seen it at my comic shop.
