I just got the game a couple of days ago, and i luv it so far but a couple of things made me uneasy about it.

There comes a few points in the game where you have to make surtain choices... Do those choices effect the final result in the game? 

EX: sometimes a prompt comes up as to weather you want to pray or not... does that do anything?

At other times there are damn near imposible tasks to complete... (im wondering weather praying helps you in those).... and if you fail at them the game keeps going.... EX: the first Blitzball game with Wakka.... did anyone ever beat that game? cause i see no way.... i get a special shot by the end of the game (at which point i actually have any feasable chance of scoring) but as soon as that happends Wakka comes in and ruins everything! he also has a great shot but its too late in the game to actually be of use! Another example is the boss fight over Chokobos.... what ta hell man!? has anyone ever beat that thing at that point!? he just pushes you off a cliff.... i manage to push him back a bit but then he started pushing every turn which was ridiculous.

I guess the main questions  are.... do your choises effect the outcome (like praying or not)? And are those tasks that seem imposible are actually possible.

1. as far as i know you cant win the blizt tournament

2. the chocobo boss can be killed normally or pushed into the ocean( I usually kill him to fast, never pushed him over)

3. praying doesn't effect anything

Okay, about the choices, it doesn't affect anything I believe. I tried both ways and it didn't do anything....

Blitzball, you can win but I personally find it quite hard. I find it a fun minigame but I just never bothered much with it later on...

The characters' abilities increase when they do things like pass, so try to do those things and to stay away from the opposite team as much as you can... I found this to work quite well.

I usually didn't win with a huge margin... like 2 or 3 to 0 or 1... But it's not impossible! The only difference, imo, is that you get a trophy and some things character say are different afterward. It's quite satisfying to win though! ^__^

Edit: The chocobo fiend is weak to fire... Spam it! Plus you can push him but I usually just beat him. X3

i think i just rushed throught the story and got too far with not enough upgrades :(

The one in Luca, yes you can win... It's hard but not impossible. I was able to do it only twice... =_= And you have no idea how much I restarted to try again to win! XD
