What is left to steal it is a simple enough question. Though I must admit I am drawing a complete blank, and I am kind of at the point where I think maybe there isn't anything left. We know from years past that Microsoft loves to steal exclusive franchises or games from Sony. Most especially at a certain upcoming event. Obviously it helps to blur the lines between the rivals, but one could also suspect its a veiled attack to denegrate the competition. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what Microsoft could steal granted that it is feasible.
Please do not troll this thread. Please do not make this into a rant thread. Please no propaganda, or veiled insinuations. Please provide a thoughtful answer not just a name. I want to know exactly why you think that something is possible, and what you think the response would be. With a good conversation we could perhaps muddle out the likely culprits if there are any, and then as a group we could see if we were close or off the mark. Final Fantasy XIII wasn't really that huge a surprise last year. Members had supposed it for years, and the same for others. I want to know where the thinking is going.
Think of this thread as a seed that can feed other discussions. My best inspiration was that perhaps Microsoft might secure a timed exclusive for the new Castlevania title. Playing Konami for fair and equal treatment. I also think it is likely that Microsoft did lobby heavily to get Metal Gear Solid 4, and its a possibility that they could walk away with a six month exclusive as a consolation prize.
