Forums - Microsoft - Well I'm thinkin of gettin a 360...

As been said a number of times on this forum. The new Xbox 360's are reliable than the past ones. The new ones have a more reliable motherboard that can get rid of the excessive heat and cooler processors that are 65nm each for the GPU and CPU.

Getting a 360 now is excellent but not in the past. I have a Xbox 360 that is Falcon. It has been running for about 1.5 years now without any problems.

Good choice again for a 360 now. If you don't mind me suggesting, get Halo 3 as your first purchase so I can own you in that game.

I've never had much problem with the 360 wireless adapter (other than its price). As long as your connection is good enough, and your console is not too far from your router, I think you should be fine.

Well i've never had the 360 wireless adaptor so i'm not sure how good it is...but from personal experience if you play online games with wireless it just isn't as good.

another route you can go is get a modem..that way you can get everything hardwired in and not have to worry about wireless if you don't want to.  I think you can get a decent modem for around $20-40.

I'm probably gonna feel really stupid if this is possible...

I do use a modem (got FIOS from Verizon) to connect to the internet and there's severeal ethernet connections in the back. For some reason I didn't think about trying them out. Is it possible to have both my PC and 360 connected to it through ethernet cables?

EDIT: Just tried it on the ps3.....well damn!....I've been running it on wireless for months and it wasn't always a stable connection =/

Sooooo that means, I won't need to get a damn wireless adapter. That's gonna save me alot of money. The elite bundle will cost $400, and I was gonna buy Halo 3 anyways so that's like a free $50. I'm not too interested in Fable 2 but I heard lots of good about it.

You can have sex with more than one person at one time. Mix and match if you want. My record was 5 people (4 guys and 1 girl)

but alas!! i lost my fable 2 so i can't play the new expansion for it :(

Anyway ot: Fable 2 is a great game and if you don't like it you could sell it which would give you probably enough money for the rechargable batteries...lol damn your cutting costs left and right!!

I have wireless adapter for 360 but I use wired connection for better connection. Also have wired connection to 3 PCs and 1 wireless to a laptop. I even stay away from wireless mouse as they aren't as good as a wired mouse.

Just a heads up the game of the year bundles are NOT Jasper models...i bought mine yesterday and the manufacture date on the elite was 06-08-2008. so its a year old. also someone mentioned that it comes with a wireless headset, not true, it comes with the wired (which is in my opinion is better anyways) as mainly a PS3 guy who just bought a 360 i say go for it. however if you want a jasper model it might be best to do like someone else said and buy and arcade and then go get yourself a 120gb hard drive
