The Failure thing was really address the New Console where changed a bit to reduce RROD happening plus the 3 year warranty you don't have to pay for.....The Bundle Is a awesome Deal..You get a ton of stuff for free..Wireless head set,HDMI cables two games and free netflix trail...I say get it...If you don't have to trade in your PS3 don't......But if cash is the Problem...The Only thing Xbox 360 don't have is the Sony games....

Besides gaming stuff, I've been making some big purchases lately. I just spent $430 on a new PC recently (it's been worth every penny so far) and I still plan on buying a midi keyboard for about $400.

My biggest issue is how to get rid of the ps3. I'm already having trouble selling the games. I'm still not official if I'm selling it yet though - it's lookin like a good year for ps3 exclusives and E3/GT5 haven't hit yet, so it'll definitely be some time before I decide whether it's gettin the boot or now.

I have never heard somebody complain about the price of an xbox360 until now :P I mean good god, $330 isn't that much anymore! But I do see your point.. I think you can get those peripherals online cheaper. Live cards go on sale at amazon frequently for 30$ too.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

I have some more quick questions and figured I'd bump this old ass thread instead of makin a new one...

When you get a repaired 360 after an RRoD, do they send you a new or repaired one? What happens to the saved data? I'd hate to lose all my saved games.

And what are some common stores in the US that allow you to refund opened games?

It's gonna cost me abit of money to switchover since I'm barely gettin any cash from selling my current ps3 games. I really wanna make sure I'll be happy with a 360 so I'm looking to try one out with a refundable copy of Halo 3. I bought my first 360 back when RRoD's were still an issue and the NXE wasn't out yet.

It's a really tough choice and though I originally was gonna wait for GT5's release, that's way too long away and I'm probably gonna make my choice sometime after E3.

Really hate to say it but my ps3 has been gettin like no use at all lately. I almost hate seeing it here in my room considering how much money I've put into it. I've owned R2, LBP, KZ2, MGS4, and so far Warhawk is the only exclusive that I play (and I don't even play that much anymore). Besides MGS4 (which I haven't touched in a long while), the rest were disappointing. As a huge shooter fan, I was really damn stoked about KZ2 but there was somethin about it that made the game feel stale after a short time.

I've been trying to find some of the 360 accessories for cheap (Live card, wireless adapter, battery stuff) since it's that stuff that's gonna make me end up payin more money than I did for my ps3.

Isn't the 360 gonna get a price drop this year? That's when I'd get mine. Never sell my PS3 though cuz I aint paying for no online gaming.

Well E3 is coming soon and after that it will be very easy for you to make the decision. GT5 is coming December 09 or March 2010 (don't ask for a link but it is happening) but then again Forza 3 is releasing on the 360.

Why not spend the money on building yourself a gaming rig? TBH I regard the 360 and PS3 lower than Man U which is saying something. Once you go gaming PC there is no going back............besides for GT5.

I did alot of PC gaming for years till I finally got frustrated with my 7-year old PC. Couldn't run shit....constant lag on most games even with graphics set to low-med. Still though, because of all the mods, quality shooters, and Guild Wars, it was easily some of the best gaming fun I ever had along with my N64. After I went back to console gaming, it felt like kinda like a downgrade. My new PC definitely isn't a beast, but I'm not picky - I can run some recent games at med settings with a playable framerate.

One of the main reasons I want a console is just because they're so simple - put the game in and play right there without having to worry about specs. Having a DVD player to go with the flatscreen in my room is also very useful. And of course, bringing some friends over for multiplayer. Without a console, there's not much to do in my room when people are here =/

No!!!! Wii want you to join the community. Wii would like to play(with you).

lolz!!!

OT: get the elite fable 2/ halo 3 bundle, it also comes with a wireless headset (which are really nice)

Also i personly wouldn't bother getting the wireless adapter for it because hardwired is always better for online games.  Wireless is just horrible for gaming in most cases because it can get really laggy and the speed can really vary greatly.  So if you plan on playing games online often then the wireless adaptor is not the best choice (not to mention its undgodly expensive)

As for xbox live if you go to www.newegg.com www.tigerdirect.com www.amazon.com then you can get good deals on xbox live for around $40

As for the battery stuff-it would probably be cheaper to buy rechargable batteries and recharge kit then the official xbox rechargable kit

And lastly concerning rrod-It depends i've sent in both xboxs that i've owned once each and for one they just fixed it, and for the other they sent me a brand spanking new one!!.

Being connected to the internet on both my PC and the console is really useful for me, especially when I'm downloading stuff. My ps3 rarely ever has the ethernet connected.

Is it the 360 wireless adapter that's slow? I heard somethin bad about it before. My only issue with it is the price. Would I be better off getting a wireless adapter for the PC itself?

I have a 360 wireless adapter and can honestly say that I have never had a single instance of lag/connectivity issues related specifically to the wireless aspect.  Every time I have ever had issues, it has been with my internet, not the wireless adapter.  Mind you, my wireless router is all the way across my house from the router itself.

It is expensive, though, so that is one thing to consider.  From my personal experience, however, the performance is absolutely fine.

Well i've never had the 360 wireless adaptor so i'm not sure how good it is...but from personal experience if you play online games with wireless it just isn't as good.

another route you can go is get a modem..that way you can get everything hardwired in and not have to worry about wireless if you don't want to.  I think you can get a decent modem for around $20-40.
