if they were trying to mis-charactherise almost every Star Trek fan, they succeded
if they were trying to ignore the fact that most of the films use special effects, they succeded
if they were trying to ignore the reasons people love the franchise, they succceded,
if they were trying to do nothing but generalise, bs, and insult Star Trek fans, they succeded

essentialy, the people who made that clip are morons who have probably never watched any of the shows in there lives and who enjoy hating on people with different tastes to them

i didnt find it even remotley funny, as much of it was insulting to me as a Star Trek fan and none of it amused me, there is a BIG difference between a joke and an insult.

How could you find it funny when you at first thought it was serious.  Now you are just pissed more that you mis-took a parody as a real news story.  Plus you missed the significance of "and think....." in the thread topic as well.  So you still (of course) are not going to find it funny.

I'm a Star Trek fan myself.  You might want to consider lightening up!  LOL!

i lighten up when i see something funny, ive yet to see such a thing in this thread.

i only laugh at things that are actually funny, and that clip wasnt.

i watched star Trek with my dad for a couple of years now and im insulted by this. it wasn't funny . the series and the fans deserves more respect then this bulls**t

im not going to see this movie there just cashing in on the successof the series
