they did grasshopper has not funded any of there developments, thats why they always look for a publisher so they dont have to

Then why did they need to do side jobs to get the money to make the game?

I mean Fatal Frame 4, Samurai Champloo....

Why would marvelous pay them for the game yet only publish it in japan.

Why wouldn't they own all the publishing rights?  Why did the rights have to be bought from Grasshopper and not Marvelous?

Why would a publisher fund a game that was targeting to be more violent then "Manhunt 2"?

Sega would be interesting.  I dunno though.

If this isn't the EA game... i'd expect it to be the "Kafka" game... seems a bit highbrow for Sega who have recently found their niche in the lower brow stuff.

I'd expect Capcom.

I remember Capcom saying they wouldn't work with them anymore, for the same reasons they disbanded clover, SEGA I could see, there relying on other talent alot

I could see this one going multiplatform.

That reason no longer exists though.  Suda now has a successful game.

^ I doubt Capcom would care, they are all about profit no matter how good a game sells if nets no profit they dont, and what succesful franchise you talkin about care?? NMH??

Indeed.  It made quite a hefty profit as you stated earlier in the thread.

Relative to budget anyway.
