Forums - Sony - Grasshopper Interactive (Killer 7, No More Heroes) is working on a new PS3

^ tri-Ace is a small company too(only 153 members), that doesn't mean there broke, or cant support a HD game( though my tri-Ace comparison may be off depending on if they pay for there own development

They haven't to my knowlege as of yet.

Also Tri-Ace has 153 employees.

Grasshopper has 48.

Tri-ace is three times as big as Grasshopper... and the 48 they have now are in large part due to them being more successful do to their recent wii success.

153 members isn't THAT small...

And as I stated before it's because their games don't sell that well. Just because they said they were happy with NMHs sales wouldn't mean that they were very good at all, since their earlier games had even shittier sales.

Also as for development costs... for Tri-ace.

Infinite Discovery... 2nd party game money from MS.

Star Ocean... SE game. Moeny from SE.

End of Eternity? Published by Sega... they could be making that one themselves... but usually if the publisher if there from the start... they're the ones publishing the game.

Afterall they have made at least 2 other HD games to have saved up some bank. I'd guess the money is coming from Sega though. Usually the publisher does pay dev costs unless it's a last minute thing.

so did grasshopper pay for there own development or did the publisher?...i think Capcom funded K7, how about NMH

soooo, if capcom funded K7 and Marvelous funded NMH, i dont see why they would broke

Marvelous probably funded NMH. They were the pub in JP.

No way.  Pay for the game just for Japan?

Besides we know they took side jobs to pay for NMH.  I'm positive that's in an interview.

they did grasshopper has not funded any of there developments, thats why they always look for a publisher so they dont have to
