PS3beats360 said: PS3 is the best console. The hate was jealously. |
A few from urbandictionary.com:
| 1. |
delusional |
| |
Someone who is not thinking clearly, or thinks something will happen that, in all likelyhood, will not
| 2. |
Delusional |
| |
Used to describe someone attached to an idea which is either false, or has changed. An alternative to "living in the past."
How is he delusional, it's his opinion (and RIGHT) to think the PS3 is best. Some of the hate does come from jealousy, as it does with all hate towards any console (or THING for that matter). YOU just seem to be in denial.
| 5. |
delusional |
| |
adj. 1. Someone who believes only their way, and everyone else is wrong.
2. Someone who is obsessed or stuck on one false belief and ignorantly denies logic and reasoning.
So he's delusional because he thinks the PS3 is the best? Well, you think the 360 is the best, correct? How are you any less delusional?
And it's ironic you posted this, when YOU yourself, aren't willing to listen to reason. Hypocrisy at it's best it would seem.
| 3. |
delusional |
| |
An insult/label often flung at those who have beliefs that are not commonly accepted.
You can keep posting definitions till you're blue in the face, you haven't addressed my original post yet. Obviously, you aren't able to have a decent debate, so I 'll leave it at that.

30 million 360 owners can't be wrong
Pardon? I'm not following you, AT ALL.....
If what you're saying is that 30mill people vs 22mill people = fact that the 360 is a better system, than you're in no position to call ANYONE delusional. 30mill people have an opinion, not a fact. The only fact there is that the 360 sold more and is still selling better, but the issue of what system is better, that's simply opinionated.
Perhaps you shouldn't base your gaming on sales, and look for Q_U_A_L_I_T_Y. That's what gaming is all about.

I thought gaming was about enjoying yourself?
Yes, it is. I enjoy the QUALITY games that appeal to me such as Siren: Blood Curse (80% average rating) way more than GTAIV (95% average rating) because Siren: Blood Curse is a quality games that appeals more to me that GTAIV.
Not getting you there... You enjoy Siren more because you like it more... But it's a mediocre game by comparison to GTAIV. You're getting more utility out of it, but it's certainly not better quality.
I enjoy the terrible WWE wrestling games more than GTAIV, but I KNOW they're not a better quality product.
Is Siren a mediocre game comparied to GTAIV? Is that a fact? So if I enjoyed Siren more that GTAIV, how is that supposed to mean it was a mediocre game comparied to GTAIV? Because if I'm looking for a certain scare factor that's in Siren that's not in GTAIV, that's what I'm gunning for. And granted that I think GTA's graphics are on a higher technical level than Siren, Siren's art style conveys the fear and dread of this survival/horrao title. Therefore, Siren is a quality survival/title that will potentialy appeal to survival/horror fan. Quality is a very general reference which plays a factor in "enjoying yourself."
No, it isn't. Quality is a "degree of excelence" or "social standing," both of which Siren would fall to a lesser tier than GTAIV. However, Siren has certain qualities you enjoy more. Quality can be a subjective term, but it is defined by a mass audience. What qualities you like or dislike are a very personally subjective thing. The measured quality of Siren, from reviews, was somewhat average, with complaints of stiff controls, slow start, and repetitive environments (all negative qualities, taking away from its overall quality). GTAIV was almost universally praised as near perfect quality. Despite this, both you and I have games that we enjoy much more. So, our enjoyment isn't chained to the actual quality of the game, because enjoyment is entirely subjective and has nothing to do with quality or sales.
