Very few people know about Ricky Gervais so it all turned into a debate about the core characteristics of science and religion. It was expected and it is actually quite interesting.
Some of the religious users in here can't differentiate between faith/beliefs and science (which is an even more interesting aspect). There are some seriously intelligent users on these boards. They are able to be consistent when presenting their logics. Again.. Kudos to all the secular people in here who understand what science really is about and what it is not!
