Prove it.  I already provided a direct link to the Blu-ray.com site recognizing him as an insider.  And, there was a link to where other industry insiders recognized him as such.  Of course, the xbox fanboys can't handle that.  Their cognitive dissonance prevents them from doing so.

I was thinking of importing one but cannot get past the menu to operate since I don't speak Japanese.

Also, why don't they have HDMI in & out to record in 1080p?

I don't work for Sony and I don't think they would be best pleased if I gave anything away about their release strategy.

The menu should be available in English as well as Japanese if they have been released in Hong Kong.

Handling Sony's financals doesn't mean you work for Sony directly.  He is privy to that information as he demonstrates via the interactions between other insiders.  That's all that matters...period.

How can he be a "Sony financials insider" without working for Sony?  Also, he sure never backs up any of his "information" when speaking with other "insiders" or other members.  He makes claims.  He never has any links or evidence to back them up.

Since when does Sony outsource their finances division to other companies?  I'm pretty sure a Toshiba employee would not be handling Sony finances.  Sony would have a bit of a fit since they were kind of rivals given the whole HD-DVD thing

I guess you never heard of financial firms, huh?  Don't act daft.  You don't seem to be too concerned with how iSuppli "backs up" any of it's information.  Good grief, iSuppli just didn't have the right price for the BD drive.  They were basically off by $35.  Why are you going through the hold HD DVD way of twisting crap?

Again, Toshiba has never been a part of the BDA to date.  What you're suggesting makes zero sense.

Where is your proof that they were off by $35?  A forum post with no evidence and just a one sentance statement?  NO.

You claim he is a "Sony Insider" and via the "proof" we find out he has nothing to do with Sony.

Also, I am well aware that some people can use finance companies, but do you really think large corporations such as Sony don't have in house accountants?

He works for Toshiba.  Not Sony.  Are you saying he works for both Toshiba AND a financial firm that somehow manages Sony's finances?  I don't know what your statement about Toshiba not being a part of the BDA has anything to do with.  I kinda emphasized the point that they were rivals since Toshiba backed HD-DVD and Sony backed Blu-Ray!!!!!  So why would Toshiba be a part of the Blu-Ray Disc Association!?!?! DUH!  I don't even know where you got that I implied they were a part of it....

You seem to not understand anything and make no sense!

The Microsoft losses include everything in their Entertainment & Devices division, not just their consoles.  So it's hardly fair to add losses for everything else to the Xbox numbers.  But who are we kidding, this was just an attempt by some fanboy to spin numbers.

No. YOUR post is an attempt by a fanboy to discredit what you don't want to face.

Since you think there is a HUGE difference in the number if you take the Zune out, find the number and show us.

I hate jumping into the middle of pointless arguements, but this $10B loss on the XBox is a total guess and wrong.  The ED&D division contains tons of product that are not XBox related.  We have absolutely no idea how much MS lost/made on the original XBox or 360.

From their recent quarterly earnings:

Entertainment and Devices Division (“EDD”) offerings include the Xbox 360 platform (which includes the Microsoft Xbox 360 video game console system, Xbox 360 video games, Xbox Live, and Xbox 360 accessories), the Zune digital music and entertainment platform, PC software games, online games and services, Mediaroom (our Internet protocol television software), the Surface computing platform, mobile and embedded device platforms, and other devices. EDD leads the development efforts for our line of consumer software and hardware products including application software for Apple’s Macintosh computers and Microsoft PC hardware products, and is responsible for all retail sales and marketing for Microsoft Office and the Windows operating systems.

All Zune losses, PC games, all Mac office sales and all retail sales of Office and Windows are included in that EDD number.  XBox is only a fraction of EDD revenue.

I was expecting something usable like earnings from one of the years listed in the above chart.

He's lost every argument he's made, so now its basically anyone who owns a 360 is dumb and he is the only one right.

It doesn't matter that we've openly with EVIDENCE disproven his statements.  MaxPower very well may be an "Insider," just not a "Sony Insider" as you claim.  In fact, he is a Toshiba insider, which is no where near the same as a Sony Financials insider.

Apparently he can't tell the difference between the company insiders and assumes an Insider for one must be an Insider for all
