Forums - Gaming - E3 -> Who will announce motion control? If both do, which 1 will be better?

With the motion control rumours surfacing again, it looks like at least one of Sony and MS will announce motion controls for their consoles at this E3 (although we had this talk a year ago).

Reportedly Sony could announce something looking like this http://news.vgchartz.com/news.php?id=3534

-So, who do you think will show motion control at this E3, do you think It'l be shown at all?

If both release which do you think will be superior, and will they affect sales at all?

I predict actually both of them will show some sort of motion control this year. I think Microsofts effort will be slightly better but more expensive. I think however PS3 sales mightt benefit more

While I have no stake in who announces motion control, I will say that I'm looking forward to the reactions on internet forums, because either way, a great many people will have to deal with the cognitive dissonance of having derided the Wii for waggle for years, and then suddenly seeing that their own favoured system will have it.

As for whether it will happen, I doubt it, because the generation's too far along for Microsoft to risk alienating their entire fanbase to date by pulling a last minute control change (that is, if they want it to be anywhere as prevalent as it needs to be to succeed), and Sony has already tried with the sixaxis and failed.

Super World Cup Fighter II: Championship 2010 Edition

Neither one will. They are already starting R&D for their next gen consoles' motion sensing. Its too late in this gen from both developers' view and from the two companies in question themselves.

Don't expect to see any motion controls from anyone besides Nintendo with Motion Plus.

I rekon we'l see a few hypocrites!

I personally will probably like whatever MS and Sony do, because I predict that motion wont be an extremely major part of their console. It'l be good playing a few motion games once in a while, but in the majority of games I prefer a traditional controller

Microsoft of course!

I hope its not Sony who announce it. Its not my thing. I think a majority of HD owners will most likely be against it. So if one company were to introduce it, i would like Microsoft. If i wanted motion contorll i would have got a Wii by now.

Would be kinda weird if this was Microsofts 'breaking the bank' announcement, and Sony showed up with their own motion controls also.

I believe neither will announce a motion controller for their current consoles. I predicted this last year, and I was right.

If Sony does create a motion controller, it will look nothing like the picture in the VGChartz news section. That is clearly someone taking the piss out of Sony for copying Nintendo.
