Wow, talk about being harsh here.
Alright, for the OP, listen you are not the only one...as it is apparent in this thread. I have never had alcohol (except for medicine for the occasional flu medicine), never smoked a cigarette in my life nor did I do any drugs.
And no, it is not because I think all people who do do it are idiotic. That is a bit harsh. The problem that I see is that if you feel the need to do it, you have to ask yourself...why?
Let's skip the obvious bullshit of "B/c I just wanted to do it" because that is an absolute farce. Nobody does something for the hell of it. The most common reason is b/c you were curious, and that is innocent enough. The obvious second reason would be b/c you see the other people are doing it and you wanted to join in the fun and not be a party pooper. Then the next question is why continue?
After a while, you start to realize how stupid the questions are, but at the same time the answers are pretty foolish as well.
Saying that you are doing it because of the other people are doing it and that is the sole reason is really foolish. That is just peer pressure and believe me: teenagers are stupid enough as it is...the ones who blindly follow those teenagers are even worse. Kinda goes along with "Who is more foolish? The fool or the fool who follows the fool?"
But then when you are older and you continue to take these drugs (which includes the banned drugs, the cigarettes and the alcohol) during a party or a gathering, then in my honest opinion, that is sad...
It is sad because that means you need those drugs just to loosen up and be fun. If you need alcohol just be fun to be around with, then you need to work on a few things. It is easy to just not use any of it and be yourself around people, esp. with friends, and still have fun.
Of course, that is just my opinion...those who feel otherwise have every right to do so...just be warned of the consequences of taking those drugs for they have an effect on you liver and brain cells.
