Quite frankly I am disgusted by the posts I read in this thread. Your encouraging Leo to remain blindly loyal not for his benefit, but for your own. There are those here who only look at him as a asset to throw into battle. There are those here who only want him to stay so they can laugh at him, and torment him to make themselves feel better. Blind fan loyalty is not something to be encouraged if a person abandons that its cause for rejoicing. That means they have gained or regained the ability to make rational choices, and apply critical examination. Rather then scream down anything that contradicts their established view.

I am not certain whether Leo is sincere, but if he is and this is not some troll gambit. Then by all means we should applaud him for it, and for those mocking him now. Well the joke is on you Leo is just a more advanced learner then you are, and perhaps even more intelligent then you are. He has the rationality to abandon a lost cause as he sees it. Which lets be honest nobody here has actually provided any proof to the contrary. Your all just typing out prayers.

I'm actually asking him to remain loving to his favored console. I think you're missing the entier point. Hence my last point of "Root for your favorite but don't let it stop you from enjoying the others" His favorite doesn't have to be the Best or #1 in any stretch, and just because he's a fanboy doesn't mean he can't enjoy the others.

So PS3 doesn't look like it'll be the best this gen, you gonna just jump ship on it like that? You were never really a fanboy of the actual console maker you were a fan of the winner. Be a fanboy by all mean I'm a big Zelda and Nintendo Fanboy but you know, I don't want Sony or Microsoft to fail. Competition makes things happen. They messed up and had a bad start with the PS3, all that does is make them realize "playstation" isn't a sure fire #1 and they'll try harder for PS4..

 Now this is all assuming he just want's to be a Nintendo or Microsoft fanboy based on the fact that Sony kinda fumbled with the PS3. It's also assuming he's serious.

If it's #1 I'll gladly teach him the finer point of nintendo fanboyism even if I think he should stick loyal with his favorite and if it's #2 hehe had me going. 

I think Leo-J just needs a hug, I don't want him to go through some teenage angst and decide he likes some other console...because that kind of change is pretty much impossible to reverse.

I like Leo-J. Much like Soriku, he reminds me of myself when I was a teen. Precocious, maybe a little misunderstood...but still cool.

Anyways, Leo-J, it's your decision what you want to do, but just remember, it doesn't matter who wins or loses, how games sell, or how many dollars corporate heads flip through. The most important thing is that you enjoy your console and have respectable opinions.
