they need to drop the psp and make a cheap psp 2 without the umd and with a "magical pen " or some shyte. piracy is killing that little thing.

this article is 6 months old and we haven't heard anything importan about GT5 and a possible release-date since then. We just have to wait and see what E3 will be like.

i new it would happen expect E3 to announce that it will be coming out in 09 but maybe not WW 300$ ps3 + GT5 09 release will do wonders for the ps3 vs 360 battle this holiday season

sony needs gow 3 or gt5 this christams. uncharted 2 is great but it is too niche. without those games sony is going to suffer.

I agree. If you ask me, I would say, they need GT5 this Xmas. I am not talking about quality, because this is a matter of taste, I am talking about sales. With the release of

• Halo ODST (Halo 3 sold 9.56 million copies)
• Forza Motorsports 3 (Forza Motorsports 2 sold 4 million copies)
• Splinter Cell Conviction (Splinter Cell Double Agent sold 1.14 million copies)

we know, that there will be 3 sequels to very successful games out for the Xbox360 this xmas plus the second GTA IV DLC. And there are games that are just rumored to be out this year like Alan Wake or APB. 

For the western market, the PS3 just has

• Uncharted 2
• MAG
• Heavy Rain

of course FF XIII will do wonders in Japan, but that won't help in Europe or the US. So one blockbuster game (GoW III or GT5) needs to be released this year.

Thats good, this is the only TRUE system seller ps3 is getting this year
