I finally got around to playing Lost Planet by borrowing it from a friend.  How is a game with nice graphics, plenty of guns, huge monsters, a sci-fi setting and made by Capcom so freakin' boring?  I'm through mission 4 and I think I'll have to force myself to play any more of it.  Hope the sequel turns out better.

What other games have you encountered that had all of the pieces to be great, but was a real stinker?

I think the game's incoherent story might have something to do with it. I like anime but even by anime standards, Lost Planet's story is nonsensical drivel.

Wow!  I think you're kidding, but you might just be extremely honest (and brave).  If you're serious, I hope the others take it easy on you.

Agreed, Lost Planet was awful.

I didn't care for Dead Rising either.

i guess im in the minority, I loved LP, it could have been better but its obvious the storymode was training for online.
