leopard comes with bootcamp which lets you install a partion for windows "easy".

tiger... you have to pay for it... silly really, since u can dualboot for free on windows  PC to mac OSX86 =P

u can also use parallel have both us running side to side or change to the other fast. supposely with minimal perfomance hit.

Well what I'm asking is do I need a Mac OS on the computer to use Windows? Is it possible to install Windows XP on a empty hard drive and use it on a Mac?

im kind of new at this!! so if somebody could help me and tell me how to install this dual boot!! or use the parallel

Boot camp is the way to go. Parallels would be too slow for gaming.

Since the mac is just a pc with osx installed it shouldn't be a problem to just install windows on it.
