A fratboy is someone who lives in a fraternity, an all-boy college dorm that is more of a cummunity than a dorm. You have to apply and try out, and there is some horrible initiation rite to get in.
Fratboys are associated with:
- having sex with girls without condoms on, or when they are drunk asleep
- STDs
- going to bars and trying to steal drinks
- being disorderly and irresponsible
- guys who play sports or talk much louder than they need to
- pretty much boys who didn't grow up
In America it's pretty much a joke, not all fratboys are like that, it's just funny to say. Video games in the kitchen, where the beer is, is something a fratboy would do lol.
Think about a young George Bush and how he would act in college. In fact theres a movie about just that, called "W"
