Forums - Sony - Sony shooter to actually sell competitively compared to the competitions?

Do you think the new and greatest of the great sony exclusive FPS will sell competitively compared to their rivals shooters like Halo 3, the Gears series, shadowrun, The conduit (The conduit is be massive ~B/E/l/I/E/V/E~), and wii play, and zelda?

I'm not so sure MAG is it. Are there any others that will sell good? So far killzone 2 is on route to do pretty well.. But it just gets decimated when it comes to comparing sales to those other games. Will Resistance: Prologue do the trick?

LoL do you seriously belive Conduit will be huge ?

Any sales above 2M for it would be big suprise.

Imho only Sony shooter that can sell a lot is Uncharted 2

But uncharted isn't a shooter! It's an adventure-platformer. The conduit will sell at least 4 million, due to wii owners being starved of games, and it actually being a hyped, critically acclaimed exclusive.

No! Microsoft has sold at least 2 million . It was reported off the rader though because of tax reasons. But that was just according to my sources.

Off the radar?

I have to wonder who they sold those other 1.5 million copies to.  I don't see too many copies at the GameStops around here, and they had to have closed FASA Studios for a reason.

Off the radar?

I have to wonder who they sold those other 1.5 million copies to.  I don't see too many copies at the GameStops around here, and they had to have closed FASA Studios for a reason.

 

I see a few copies at gamestop everytime I go, not a monsterous amount, but a big amount.

And why has FASA canned? Why was Ensemble canned? My guess is they were taking too much time in between projects, or restructuring.
