Forums - Sony - Sony right to not put a second stick on new PSP

You haven't seen a picture of the new PSP yet so you have no clue what is or isn't on it.

Exactly.

Maybe we should wait until it's been announced and have actual info on it before people start complaining about its features (analog nubs, umd-less, etc.).

Im betting that 1up.com got the news right when they broke the story Here.

Sony want to make money by selling art, Nintendo want to make money by selling fun, Microsoft want to make money.

I realise that, thats why I wrote "Im betting that 1up.com got the news right".  No need to go all caps lock!  Anyway In my experence, hardware rumours with this much detail so close to a big event such as E3 are always correct.

i think its a bad move imho

me personally i had an OG psps, it broke, then i had a psp 2000, so i sold it as there was no new games out that i wanted for a LONG time.

so for me as a DS portable gamer right now (also texas hold em on my cell phone ;)) if they added a second stick, with that graphics capability, and the online, id have bought it RIGHT AWAY for the inevitable COD online.

like a second stick and i buy a PSP THAT DAY!

so to me, it was a bad move.

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

Arent your two points one and the same ?

They should just wait and think on strategies to beat the next DS.

The ps2 rarely used the second analog stick. I don't know why people are so hung up over the psp's lack of the right side one. It would probably just be there gathering dust :o

ever play a first person shooter?  it got used quite a bit, and if mine broke on my ps2, id buy a new controller immediately

with the graphics and online of psp, fps is a genre they could smash ds in

of course, not without that second nub
