Now that I know how much halo 3 sold opening weekend, no, I don't think MW 2 will outsell Halo 3's opening weekend on any one console, life time sales neither as halo 3 is still selling and the bundle will boost halo 3 sales even further.

Well i dont think it will outsell Halo 3 Lifetime. Mainly because people like me who own multiple consoles and own Halo 3, will possibly buy it for the PS3 instead of the 360. Thus cutting into the 360's version chances of doing it

Why not? cod4 has sold 7m+ on a smaller userbase, everyone knows how good cod4 and will likely purchase modern warfare2 look at sales of cod5 it was a shitty game but it sold wonders the cod brand is stronger than halo if you ask me.

Alright settle down on the COD5 bashing, it's a great MP game and I've actually been playing more of it than COD4. I didn't enjoy the SP as much but the MP is just as good as COD4.

I don't think CoD5 was bad. I just think that releasing a game every year for this franchise will keep this game from having monstrous sales(just speaking about the 360 version not selling more than Halo 3).

Will not outsell Halo 3 lifetime. Halo 3 is down to $40 MRSP and is all in "the bundlez" for elites and probably pro in the long run.

Agreed.I honestly think it won´t do better than Halo 3.

Cod4 has already sold more than Halo 3 why wouldnt Modern warfare 2 do it aswell, lifetime speaking.

Yeah in terms of sales vs. Halo 3.  CoDWAW probably will act as a buffer against MW2 sales.  A small percentage of people will probably hold off on getting MW2 right away since they are still enjoying CODWAW.
