Without a UMD drive, I will not buy. If these rumors come true, then I am glad I bought my PSP-3000 a couple months ago. I dont want a converter or an add-on either, it has to be built in.

I'm glad I didn't buy the 3000. I gave my cousin my PSP and games for his birthday and this sounds like the perfect time to jump back on the bandwagon with software renaissance and hardware refresh.

Well then you will be fine with the old style PSP if these rumors come true!

If true, then this is going to bomb so hard it's not even funny.
"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

here we go agian.....just because the PSP GO is out doesn't mean there not supporting the 3000 series. There will be the 3000 and the PSP GO so ppl have a choice
YOU GUYS #$)(*( seem to miss the point that PSP Classic is going to be available for download... so you CAN play all the old PSP games...
Now the only concern I have is if you need to BUY the game AGAIN.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but absolutely nothing has been confirmed about the next PSP...
So this is still a rumor. Not saying it can't be true but seriously you should post it as a rumor not fact. That's just bad journalism.
My thing, though, is if true will retailers decide to carry it. I mean they will make significantly less money off software, and used games in Gamestop's case, if this is true. If I were a main retailer, I'd refuse to carry it.

This is a good question. We can only wait.
