Star trek is currently: $238,475,256
Terminator Salvation is at $$13,372,491 domestic only
Wolverine $300,249,847
Thats from the Box Office Mojo. It seems Wolverine has better overseas sales.
Tease.

I think UP will be huge for Pixar next weekend...and Drag Me To Hell will be a sizable hit too. Awesome counter programming!
Playing: Borderlands(great co-op,HUGE amount of content),Too Human(better late than never lol),Saints Row 3(Penetrator ftw),Minecraft 360,Harry Potter Lego.
Patiently waiting for: Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2

yeah, Star Trek's oversea box office is horrible.
It seems Night at the Museum will win be the box office champ for the weekend.
Terminator Salvation's stands at $56m
Night at the Museum is at $53m, but TS had one day head start.
I don't think it was a good idea to start TS on Thursday - bad 'word of mouth' is hurting the biz.

Very close call for the third place.
Star Trek and Angels and Demons are neck to neck for the weekend so far.
I cannot believe Star Trek and Angels & Demons are both neck to neck. I haven't watch the Da Vinci Code before so I wouldn't know where all this hype is coming from for Angels of Demons. But Star Trek was an amazing experience and worth seeing.
The last movie I saw in theaters was Terminator: Salavation. That movie is horrible, I really don't have to much history on the events of the past Terminators but everything from character choices to the explosive effects. I mean come on Chris Nolan from The Dark Knight. Not a good choice at all and the I sensed a lot of explosions in the movie, something was always exploding and it was getting rather annoying. I don't know who this Marcus dude is and Arnold S. only appeared in the movie as a CG character for three minutes and boom he was destroyed!
Overall Star Trek and Fast & Furious are my top movies so far for this Spring/Summer of 09.

Good call.
Terminator Salvation tanked imo. so sad. The trailer was sooo good too, but I guess the movie is not that good.
Star trek came in third.
btw, would Terminator Salvation be considered a prequel or a sequel?

Wow. I didn't even know they were making Halloween 2. Is Rob Zombie going to direct it like he did with the first one? He did a pretty good job on character development (making Michael Myers far more terrifying than in the original)

Yeah Rob Zombie is doing Halloween 2. I enjoyed his take on Halloween but the original Michael Myers was probably my first exposure to pure horror (I was 11 when I saw it). I think Rob Zombie did the right thing by telling us Michael's story but for me a big part of the horror was knowing next to nothing about him.
Halloween 2 will be like the original sequel(horror in the hospital).More of a slasher fest now that the characters have been established.
