Ok, so I just purchased a 250gig hard drive for the ps3 and I am not sure how to go about transferring all the data and the OS from the old HD to the one I just got. Does anyone know??? Help me out here please!!

you have to back all your data from the old one on any Media storage device DO THIS FIRST!!!!!! if you take the hardrive out you deleted all ur data. then just restore it on the new PS3

it depends on much data you have...i dont think it automatically separates data on multiple Media storage devices so you might have to do it manaully, or find a really big memory stick
