It's best if you don't want war, try not to start one.
It seems like you're not really interested in Xbox 360 as a whole or any of their games other than the tw you listed. That being said, I probably would just wait not just after E3 but until another price drop. No sense in gettibg a system for just two games if there is absolutely nothing else that interests you. That's just my opinion though. I got an Xbox 360 mainly for two games but knew that there would also be others that interested me and I didn't alreadyhave another HD system.
I'll come up with something better eventually...
