In the wiki it says shards are 2-2 sand worms an chunks are 2-2 worms, what is the difference?

Congrats on the platinum ;) I'll start Valkyria Chronicles next week as well, was only trying to get the platinum on Uncharted 2, got it yesterday.

I found no difference on the worms, they do take a bit to drop chunks and pures, but they dropped a lot of them once they started coming out. I farmed off the 6 worms next to the Flamelurker archstone

I found no difference either. If you're looking for Chunks, you can get them even with Neutral WT and without the LSS. Still very rare, when I got to PBWT I got 3 Pure Greystones (!) and just 1 chunk in about 20 runs of the 6 worms lestatdark mentioned.

Found all my chunks still no pure. Stupd accidental online play really screwed me here. Back to bladestone farming.

alternatively if you also have a sharp +5 weapon, a fatal +5 weapon and a dark +5 shield that I could hold for a few secs to get the trophies (I would give them back immediately) that would be cool too as it would save me some time.

I do plan on making those myself eventually but gettig those items and trophies now would allow me to stop playing the game for a bit so that I can spend more time with my family :)

When anyone reaches about leve 197 or so in NG+++, can you give me a friends invite so we can do a 1v1 duel? I crave for a fair fight in Demon's Souls >_
