Which did you get, Ignite?

The only spells I ever use now are Firestorm and Warding, eventually i'll start using SoulSucker and Soul Thrist for soul farming in NG+ or Acid Rain for PvP.

Also, at what Dexterity level are you? You can make a Sticky Bow +5 and it will have the same potency as the Lava Bow, plus at 30+ dexterity it will be even stronger than the Lava Bow.

Yeah it was Ignite. I only got it because at the time I assumed that each Demon's soul only had one specific use, ahh well. My dexerity isn't too high, around 16 I think. I've starting upgrading my sticky bow and will work on boosting dexerity as well now.

@CrazyHorse

I hardly used any other Fire Spell other than Firestorm. I tried to use Fire Spray, but it does neglegible damage, even at 30 magic, and most PvP and NPC BP can easily dodge it >_

16 is a good Dexterity level to start on your Sticky Build, at what Soul Level are you currently?

Ooops it was actually Firespray I got, not Ignite (which might actually have been a bit more useful) and like you I never use it.

I think I'm around soul level 45ish but not certain, will have to check when I go and give those Maneaters another try later.

Well, I only got to Dexterity 30 when I was around Soul Level 70s or so, so no hurries in upgrading your Dexterity, make sure your other stats are up to date as well.

Are you gunning for any particular build, or are you trying to keep an average displacement of stats?

AAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I F@#$%KING HATE 5-1!!!!!!

I died one billion times from falling. That damn giant goblins would make me roll into my doom.

I did beat it (beating the boss with Clever Rat Ring and Morion Blade was a piece of cake), but damn that pissed me off.

I already beat Worlds 2 and 4. I started 5 and Im dreading going back to 3.

And I just realized that because of my earlier stupidity, Im going to have to play a 4th time to beat the Armor Spider cause I consumed his soul instead of using it to make the lava bow.

Please, someone post that pic of Nelson saying HA HA! again

I can tell you'll just LOVE 5-2. ;)

@lestatdark

I'm going for a reasonably balanced build for this game, mainly because I didn't really know what was going at first so didn't think of focussing certain stats for certain weapon builds ect. The only stat I have really focussed on is strength (it's about 23 I think) so that I can use certain weapons (purple flame shield ect). Other than that I like using a mix of magic, bows and melee so I try to keep those things balanced.

Will probably focus on a more specific build next run through, although haven't decided what yet! Any recomendations?

Well, i'm too using a more balanced approach to the game, on my first playthrough I focused on a Knight/Heavy melee hitter style, but I didn't quite like it.

I've seen people saying that Faith builds are amongst the best in the game, mainly due to the Large Sword of Moonlight and it's ability of going through Shields, but Blind does that too and I prefer Dexterity to Faith, because that way i'll have an overpowered sword and bow at the same time.
Other build is Luck, due to the BlueBlood Sword using luck as an Hidden damage booster, but with high luck you can even cause more damage with it than with a fully powered Meat Cleaver.

I found the Thief ring.

I got one question though. Should I fight the dragons at the roost?

@sabby_e17

You can fight them, but once they lose about 3/4 of health they'll just fly off and you'll have just wasted a bunch of arrows for nothing.

Plus I don't know if i'm reminded correctly, but I think they suffer less damage in the Roost in comparison to their actual fighting stages.

@marciosmg

I hate the 5-X worlds as well, but if you hated 5-1, then 5-2 is going to become your worst nightmare X_X

Oh no...I made that mistake as well when I first played the game, but with the Old Monk's Soul >_<

Oh, I have no problem with 5-2. I just walk in the swamp and use regenarator's ring. The only problem is when I find 2 Ginat Goblins.

But with thief's ring and taking a longer path I can circle them.

I just want to beat the levels now.

And I want the lava bow dammit!
