What is NG+

That happened to me too when I tried to make a thief! I had him to maybe 1/2 though, and got a little ahead of myself (but it was taking so long haha. But yeah, Royal = easy mode, but I still like it.

It's New Game +, in which everything you accomplished and gained in the first playthrough carries on (except for keys) but the enemies get a 100% increase in difficulty and overall toughness

Oh wow. This game should keep me occupied for 200+ hours.

Just 6 hours ago I stopped playing Demon's Souls due to frustration, but now I wanna go back for some more.

Oh i know that frustration, it's the same one I had when I lost 500k souls :P

I found it best just to stop for the day and try again the next day, it almost always worked out better that way xD

@sabby the beggining of the game will be difficult as you don't understand what the hell is going on at all and what items you'll even be using. I suggest referencing the Demon Souls wiki and look at the various weapons to decide what build you'll go.  Don't worry about losing 1-2k souls, you'll find eventually at 1-4 you can farm 10-20k souls in like 5 minutes. Made me feel silly that I cared about a couple thousand.

@lestat yah I'm finishing up one last farm, once I get the sticky compound bow at +5 i'm moving onto NG+ they say at 30 dex and higher it is one of the most powerful bows. Good thing I didn't spend anymore time upgrading the white bow. Spiderstone hunting is so annoying tho... just 5 more shards, I started this farm with 10,000 souls...each kill nets me 10-20 in pbwt. I'm at 18,000 souls....and I only kill like 4 monsters each run lol.

edit: btw sabby if you want the game to be easier do not die in body form while inside a world and do not invade others...I had to learn the hard way >< invaded 8 times the second day and than wondered why my life was lower suddenly..

Farming for spiderstones was quite easy actually, I got all the stones I needed from the Gecko in 2-1 xD

Just wait until you get to farm for the Bladestone >_

First time if I remember was with a Thief or Wanderer, then with a Barbarian. Once you know how to kill him, it becomes very easy...just a bit long.

I'll give it a try then, before going to NG+, i'm eager to see how playing as a Barbarian feels like xD

I read the droprate for the bladestone is 1-200...and there are only 2 enemies I believe in 4-2 that drop it, the bp katana wielders that kill you in 1 hit. I remember I ran into pbwt 4 destroying everything and thinking I was the shit, it'd been a while since a monster gave me a challenge until bam bp katana wielder, dash attack! instant death >
