It's the best attacking miracle and one of the best PvP spells to use, particulary on 4-2 if you get invaded there.

Plus, it's the best tool for gecko farming in 2-2, in the large cave with 7 geckos, one blast of it and you'll swipe all of them. 

shield's are for the weak =P I personally only use abdjudicator shield, for the hp regen and go two handed meat cleaver. The aoe roll attack is just too awesome, along with the S Str, S Dex, A Faith at 36 str and 20 dex it's already at 90 base +196 phys and 90 +30 some magic dam for 16 faith =). I love one shotting most enemies hehe.

Also got my character tendency to white hunting black phantoms. The irony, they come invading my world but I'm really just lying on my bed camping in a corner with graverobber's ring lol.

When I was at the end of NG+ I was at 40 strength and dexterity and 30 faith :D My Meat Cleaver did 530 physical attack xD.

also, are the spell/miracle damage/duration modified by the faith/intelligence/magic stats ?

Most spells/miracles are affected in their direct damage output by increased Magic/Faith

Wrath of God, for example, for each 10 levels of Faith, adds 150-250 damage.
Firestorm, which is the best AOE attacking spell, for each 10 levels of magic adds 285-340 fire damage per second 

O_o I can't wait to get to the 500 =) I want to just max out my str, dex and faith and see some massive damage. I am also considering going BlueBlood sword later in the game, what's your opinion on that weapons attacks?

Well, my BlueBlood wasn't as good as it could be, because even with 25 magic, 40 Dex/STR and 30 Faith, I lacked Luck which was as 7 (never bothered to upgrade it xD)

I'll try it out with my new character, I have 20's on every stat and Strenght at 25, so the damage input from it is going to be even larger xD.

But quite frankly, even though I loved the Meat Cleaver, I almost always used the Northern Regalia (560 Damage constantly), since it did more damage than Meat Cleaver, and I could combo with it. Plus, it had a bigger backstab effect, so owning people in PvP was a bliss with it xD.

sl 65 trying to get 24 dex rite now to use white bow and kill blue dragon and false king with the bow, i'm so scared of being soulsucked!!!

Well, try to make the Morion Blade so you can use the Morion Blade and Clever Rat Ring to boost your Bow attack to 800 xD I killed the Blue Dragon at 20 Dexterity with a Lava Bow in less than 30 arrows :P

I'm at SL 77 now, and I still need to do the 5-X stages plus all the Pure Black World Tendency and both the Character Tendency events.

also, the soul sucking is finally quite easy to avoid (but amazingly funny to see on someone else LOL)

I was a lot more worried by the mega splash attack that killed in 1 shot if I was too close to him
