damn i finally got it. for anyone that lives in the toronto area i called almost every store in the west end (etobicoke area where i live) and the east end (scarborough area where i work). so good luck to any of you who don't have it yet.

i played a little bit of it and i died against the first big guy (at what i assume is the end of the tutorial). i guess i really have to take into consideration that raising my shield won't do anything to protect me against some monsters.

I don't know why people hate spears here. Imo, the moon winged spear +5 and the crescent estoc +5 are some of the best weapons. They don't break shield guards and so you don't have to worry about enemies hitting you at the same time. Besides, their dmg is not that bad. You might get away in the first playthrough, but the general consensus in NG+ and later on is that you need to avoid getting hit and a spear/rapier shield combo helps a lot.

I got a question I am currently upgrading my bow right now. I have a sticky compound long bow+2 should I continue making it sticky +5 or should I go back to just compound long bow and try to get that to +10? My weapon is a cresent falcion +4

Grrr that black phantom that invaded me in 1.4 last night cost me my mausoleum key.
I went back to 1.4 and killed the drake today and Ostrava wasn't there but his black phantom was.

Guess I will have to kill the Old king for his armor in New Game+

What do you think is a better upgrade for a Claymore? It's at +4 already, at +6 all the upgrade paths will be available. I was thinking of going Dragon Claymore, but from what I read, I lose all DMG bonus from my STR.

I'm a Royal Race, with 26 STR, 20VIT, 19END. I went Royal for Soul Arrow which is very usefull in some situations.

Sticky compound longbow +5 has the best dmg output if you have at least 20 dex.

If you plan on using large swords as your main weapon, you might as well use the North Regalia later on. Dragon claymore indeed removes all STR bonus. If you want to upgrade claymore and take advantage of STR, then Greystone (Crushing) is the way to go, but this will remove all DEX bonus. If you have decent magic stat, you can go for moon.

Thanks for the info I only have 13 dex I'm a mage. I'm already at soul level 64 so I don't see myself getting the dex that high. I think I will stick with it though just because I already started to upgrade

Armors? For armors? You either kill Yurt the Silent Chief at 3-2 or you get one that is heavier while fighting the main boss of Valley of Defilement.

Okay, 2 things... first...whats clever rat ring? Increase attack 30% or lowers HP... that doesn't make sense to me at all.... it'd make sense if it said AND lowers HP...

and while I came here to write 2 things i forgot what the second thing was so i started playing to remember. The second thing was the guy in 3-1 who says "please dont kill me i'm just a humble servent" is it bad to kill him? because I did... but then reading the messages it sounds like he revives the false idol.

And what changes the soul tendancy?
