I don't get that part either. To me it's the other way around. If there's no afterlife you have a few decades to make it count. With afterlife thrown in, life is just a minuscule part of the whole so why bother with life when you've got eternity ahead of you.

this reminded me of a song lyric i like

"what if im already dead, how would i know"

which is also kinda true, IF and imo its a very,very,very,very big IF there is an afterlife, how would we know the difference between it and this life, if this life isnt the afterlife of course

personally, i dont belive in the afterlife, im not afraid of death per se, i just know that i will inevitabely die at some point, when, i dont know, nor do i know how im gonna bite the dust.

Hmm like it feels better to believe in that there is a better place. There might be you never know. For me it would seem pointless if there wasn’t anything after life.

I think about as a graduation, like you have succeeded, you have passed the test of life and that determines where you will end up.    

I'm not worried about dieing myself. Losing people around you is much more painfull.

Interesting that makes me think about the matrix. what if we wake up to see the real world after we die in this life…

When I was little I really believed this life was fake and I was actually a dreaming dinosaur. I used to dream about them all the time while I didn't even have a real interest in them. I don't know how I got that idea though.

I'm not afraid of death..but I am afriad of drowning. I feel that that would be the worst way to die.
