Forums - General - OT: just saw Obsessed (BLAH!) (MINOR SPOILERS)

I just saw Obsessed......terrible. (Not as bad as Prom Night though)

Before any of you ask, I was going to see Crank 2 but it was playing at the theatre I went to so I decided to see obsessed. I'm just gonna get to the point

WARNING, SPOILERS

Although, some of you might think of this as a fatal attraction rip off, well it is...............if fatal attraction was a terrible movie. Anyway, so in the beginning of the movie everything is all good, they move into a house etc. etc., until one day, Idris character meats that disturbing woman in the elevator. And from that point on, she's just obsessed with him. The funny thing is, she becomes obsessed with him after their 1st. 5-10 min. talking to each other. Funny thing is, there is no explanation why she became obsessed with him so quick.

Before I continue, Beyonce's acting..............................*gags*

Anyway,  After the whole elevator sequence, she starts talking to him even more, they hang a few times, at a Christmas party she comes on to him and he rejects it and after that, she tries again in a parking lot and fails. From that point on, she was extremely "obsessed" with him. After that everything just went down hill. The reason why is because for a stalker, she didn't feel anything like a stalker. Sure she was trying to end their marriage but all she mostly did was make up stories about him and her, send him some pics of her and that's it. I was not interested, nor did I care about what happened to him (Idris), her (Beyonce), or the stalker (Ali). And for some of you who saw the trailer and caught a little glimpse at Beyonce and Ali fighting. *sigh*, it was Beyonce's fault. Here's why.

She puts the code in her security system, leaves to go who knows where, realizes she forgot her purse, turns back around, unlocks the security system, gets her purse and forgets to lock it. Now here's why it pissed me off. When she unlocked it, her purse was "RIGHT" next to the little keypad thingy and when she gets it, she forgets to put back in the code. WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!!!! Was her memory that bad? GOD!!!!!

The ending was GOD AWFUL! For some of you who have seen vacancy, it ends just like Vacancy. After defeating the killer, *CREDITS* No follow up on what happened, no nothing. Also, there's no twist or anything in the movie to keep you interested to see what happens at the end. In one scene, she drugs him and has sex with him. If they had something like...........she got pregnant that would've been good. But sadly, they went with this terrible twist where she gets naked in his bed and tries to OD on pills.

Overall, it's a boring, stupid movie.

But I will admit, the fight scene near the end of the movie is worth it though. To girls fighting.......*boner*. But sadly I will never get that 1 hour and 30 min. of my life back

Now if you'll excuse, I'm going to go masurbate to Indigo Prophecy..........and if you've played the game, you will understand why

It certainly didn't scream Academy Award winner to me.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
