promised an update so here it is:

- has no story aside from little vignettes before the training missions, but if you are into shadowrun its kind of fun

- the game is absolutely amazing, total class, magic, tech system and really fun cool game modes! im hooked already

- lots of games online still, so its not dead at all

definetly worth the ten bucks!



Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

So I was mad when I heard that the 360 game would be a shooter with no story.  Real mad, I didn't even play it until recently.  I tried the demo for a bit actually, it's neat as shooters go, and has a lot of the source material in game, and in the movies in it.

My question tho is this, is it any deeper thasn the demo?  Will cool things happen, or will it be deathmatch after deathmatch?  I will buy it either way, but I'll get it today if it has even a tiny bit more story to it .. .

Also is it popular at all online still?

Its only online, so when they shut down the servers you are out of luck.

it sucks bought it when it came out for 60 then returned it the next day. only got 35 :(

i thought it was ok. seemed plenty of people online when i was playing a few months back.
it probably would have done much better if at a cheaper price and marketed better.

Well I played the demo a while back. I didn't care for it... at all.

i read somewhere once that it didnt work that way, as long as someone else is online with the game i can play.

only game i ever saw shut down the servers was tiger 06 on 360

and that was lame, cus it was actually a challenging tiger game

I played it and agree with everyone that was upset because it wasn't a full game.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't worth full price and I could only imagine how dead the servers are today.

It wasn't a bad game, it just wasn't the best and didn't offer anything else.

Its Counter Strike with magic. Its a fun game, with some new tweaks to the CS gameplay. I haven't played in a while, but it is a fun game when you get into it
