You can't show M-rated violence of cartoon aliens in a commercial clearly. They certainly aren't going to allow real people killing each other in a goofy manner - killing for fun - in a game commercial. Think of the Halo commercials where it's gamers reacting to getting schooled versus a Spartan killing an Elite or Brute or other Spartan.

Find the most violent video game ad you can find and it will be less troubling to a non-gaming audience than that ad there.

I would probably not want my students to see it, though I think it's definitely quite clever.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?

I thought it was pretty lame. Saw no funny parts in it at all. I guess you guys are easily amused.

Jeez, when you put it that way, you make us sound like we have ADH-ZOMG SQUIRREL

Yea, sorry I didn't mean to be so blunt but it seems like most things now a days aren't that funny to me. It is almost like humor in tv and movies has gone backwards. I watched Mr. Woodcock yesterday and I think I laughed once during that shitty movie. I saw Napoleon Dynamite before it even released nationwide and I think I laughed maybe once during that movie too. There has been only a few new movies that have actually made me laugh a decent amount through the whole movie. I am probably a little biased towards this because I hate commercials.

Yea, I did like Burn After Reading (which I was a little drunk when I first saw it). There are a few decent new movies. The ad was pretty original so I will give it that.

It was banned because it is stupid.

Overall gaming adds tend to be stupid.

I only liked just one add about gaming in my life, it was a Sony add about PS2, people crawling all over each other. Don't remember that clearly, but that was quite impressive.
