Incase anyone wondered, GameFAQs has updated alot of release dates, and theres a bevy of great games coming to Japan. It might give the X360 a pretty nice boost soon.

Pretty good schedule. The big ones are Halo 3, Beautiful Katriami, Ace Combat 6, Dynasty Warriors 5 and Lost Odyssey.

Secont tier games which could suprise will be Blade Storm, Guilty Gear 2, Apocalypse: Overture, Operation: Darkness, and PGR 4.

IMO, the quality of titles for the rest of the year blows last year's out of the water. Last year, there were only 3 big games: Dead Rising, DOAX2, and Blue Dragon. Nevertheless, I would argue atleast H3, AC6 and LO will outsell every one of those games (LO > BD, AC6 > DR, H3 > DOAX2)

Unfortunately not a chance. At all. Maybe if they started giving them away They would have to do over 500k in sales in the next few months. The fall lineup should boost them quite nicely though. Im guessing Lost Odyssey stir up some interest, maybe having the same spike Blue Dragon did.

Hopefully they can hit the half million mark by the end of the year with this fall/winter game lineup. 40,000 sales between now and December isnt impossible.

Im excited about some of these games. Short of the cumulative effect of a number of good games (past and future) combining to make the console worthwhile for a wide range of people, the xbox wont shift a tremendous amount of units unfortunately.

Last year had less big games but do you really think anything on that list other than LO will outsell Blue Dragon?

I wouldn't say it blows it out of the water, I also expect DOA X2 to beat Ace Combat 6 and Katamari in sales...

Apparently Ace of Combat 6 is a big deal and turning heads in stores to 360 screens that are demoing it.  It could be a surprise success but I don't think it will beat Blue Dragon.  All Microsoft can really do this year is hope.

great games cooming to xbox 360 in japan for the money of ms and because the 360 have a hardcore userbase,this have the 360 alive in japan without mattering the low sales of the hardware.

DOAX2 released last year and had ~70k sales, so a Platinum edition should wind up doing decently (10k+)

None of the games, save Lost Odyssey, will beat Blue Dragon. Nevertheless, I feel the top 5 games of the year will easily beat every top-5 game of last year for the X360.

IMO, the sales charts at EOY should look like.....

The Best Price/Platinums for DOA4, DOAX2, and such should wind up with around 10-15k each, with DOA4 getting the biggest boost IMO.

At any rate, last year, the X360 only had 2 games hit 100k - Blue Dragon and DOA4. This year, it seems probable we'll have 5 games hit 100k....A far better number than last year. Not only this, only 6 games hit 50k last year (DOA, BD, DOAX2, N3, DR, LP), whereas we will have 11 or so(LO, AC6, H3, BK, BD again, TB, Oblivion, GMI, DW5, GoW, IdolM@ster) for this year.

So that, to me, is a good increase.

The X360 hitting 1m at the EOY is near impossible. The best, under any circumstance, would be it hitting around 450k at the end of the year. I called 375k for the year in Japan, as of January, which I am still confident in.

I'd fully expect AC6, LO and DW5 to move major (10k each week) hardware for the week's they're out. LO should manage 35k+ for it's opening week, and I think there's a good chance AC6 could move 20k first week as well.

The other 50k+ games should move a considerable (5k+) bit of hardware over their lifespans, so that looks good too.
